God Comes to the hungry in the form of food -Ghandi

Drought in Ethiopia is as old as the land itself. The first recorded famine due to drought in the region dates as far back as 253 BCE. Over the centuries millions have died from hunger and drought related diseases. While other countries have learned to cope with the problem, Ethiopia’s population continues to suffer. Some lay blame on government inefficiency and corruption, others attribute the situation to lack of modern farming techniques and education. But, the most tragic manifestation of this ongoing tragedy is child hunger.
